Our auditions normally take place in March and July each year, but we are announcing more dates throughout the year. Check back here or on our blog regularly, or get in touch if you want further information.

Audition Information:

Length: 25 minutes

During the audition, a Milapfest panel of the Director, Conductor and independent assessor will get to know your background, talent and potential through a short interview and performance:

  • One prepared piece of music (5 mins)
  • Questions & musical interaction to test your skills
  • Background knowledge and experience
  • Professional development plans and ambitions

At the venue, there are refreshments and a waiting room for you to prepare and tune your instrument. Arrive in plenty of time for that, and let us know if you can’t make your personalised audition time. We normally let you know the result within 3 working days of the audition.
