Kumudini Lakhia was her effervescent self and her passion for her art was evident as she spoke of her journey in dance. She said, “At one point, I was so full of technique, chakkars and pirouettes that I realized I had lost my dance.”

Dance India Asia Pacific: Day 4 #DIAP16

The last event for the evening was a talk organized at the Temple of Fine Arts – one of the oldest institutions teaching dance and music in Singapore. The presentation was ‘Bhakthi Bhava in Dance’ by Lakshmi Vishwanathan, Bragha bessel and Priyadarsini Govind.

A homecoming in Singapore: Dance India Asia Pacific 2014

This year, the third international edition of Dance India takes place in Singapore, presented by Milapfest’s Singapore partners Apsaras Arts, with The Esplanade and supported by National Arts Council Singapore.
