Percussion Ensemble

Samyo’s All-Percussion ensemble features Tabla, Mridangam, Khanjira, Moorsing, and a bit of chanting and clapping too! Led by Kousic Sen and Bangalore Prathap, the ensemble is a new innovation to give audiences a taste of the complex rhythms and fascinating sounds of our Indian percussion instruments.

Often collaborating with the older musicians from the Tarang ensemble, this group of drummers have uplifted and dazzled many audiences at concerts and workshops too.
