Did you know Samyo is celebrating it’s 10 year anniversary this year?! Founded in 2002, the orchestra has seen scores of young musicians develop and grow into professional musicians, so this year we’re celebrating not only this exciting milestone but also the effect and success that the orchestra has facilitated over the last decade.
A host of exciting projects have been taking place throughout this year and will continue into 2013, culminating in a celebratory concert at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, where the orchestra will perform an exciting programme of new and classic pieces from their repertoire. In addition, the evening will see the public premiere of a year-long film project documenting this important year in Samyo’s career by Liverpool based film production company, First Take.
Samyo’s brand new web pages feature loads of interesting information about the orchestra and how to apply. Be a part of something really exciting www.milapfest.com/samyo
