Our Promise

Milapfest aims to make a positive contribution to people’s lives, and one of the best ways we can do that is to provide high quality and enjoyable arts experience for all.

The Arts School was created to make sure that people of all ages and backgrounds have the opportunity to benefit from the best possible education in Indian music and dance.

To lift your spirits, engage your mind and improve your health!

Arts School is for people of any age, ability or cultural background, to experience the pleasure and benefit of learning an art form!

To take your first steps on the career pathway

Beyond that, for talented young people who want to develop the art form as a serious hobby, and to explore their talent, there are structured courses in various disciplines, including examinations too.

With our experience of auditioning and training musicians and dancers through Samyo, Tarang, Music India and Dance India, Milapfest learned that quality teaching in Indian music and dance is not available all over the country. We ensure a high standard of training at the Arts School, with tutors who bring a great wealth of expertise and experience in education, performance and creative thinking right here in the North West.

It’s important that students are aware of what they are learning and are able to keep track of the progress they make throughout the year. To ensure this happens, we provide a full course plan at the start of every term so students and parents know exactly what they can expect to learn over the course of a term and year.

Classes are held at the Creative Campus in Liverpool Hope University in professional studios and classrooms. The Creative Campus offers a unique and relaxing environment in which to learn, with beautiful buildings and fantastic facilities.

Arts School is also open to musicians or dancers from other genres, to learn Indian music or dance in a way that complements your own style.

Arts School is Milapfest’s answer; and through regular sessions people of all ages and backgrounds now have the opportunity to take their first steps in an adventure in Indian arts!
