Some of you may be aware that today is Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving, which follows the busy shopping day, Black Friday and the online sales boom of Cyber Monday. Today is the day to join together in the spirit of Christmas and give something back.
And what better way to unite hearts and minds than through the power of the arts? Milapfest strives to bring inspiring and uplifting programmes of Indian music and dance to people all over the UK and internationally. We offer Education and Artist Development opportunities to those whose dream it is to share these vibrant art forms still further. And we cherish the Indian arts in our own archive of rare music and dance recordings, the Milapfest Institute for Indian arts, which is open for all to explore.
But in our 30 years as an organisation, our work has only been made possible by the generous support of our funders and donors, and we’d like to invite you to join us on our journey.
Kalanidhi in Sanskrit means “the treasure of art” and you can be one of the first Kalanidhi donors for Milapfest. By making a donation you can help us to continue to deliver innovative Indian music and dance events, to nurture the talents of young artists, offer platforms for aspiring artists to join the professional world and help to preserve and promote Indian arts.
A donation of any size, no matter how large or small, can help to support our work. To become a Kalanidhi donor, we offer three suggested levels of giving:
As a Kalanidhi donor, you will receive benefits in line with the level of your gift, and the opportunity to closely influence Milapfest’s work.
Support Milapfest and help us to continue to preserve Indian music and dance for everyone to enjoy. Click here to find out more, or make a donation below.
